Opening keynote speaker: Kevin Slavin
Kevin Slavin works as a Biosecurity Project Leader, Principal Investigator, MIT Media Lab at Biotech Innovator Ginkgo Bioworks. Slavin applies his talents to emerging technologies for advances in public health. He focuses on making the world safe from both natural and engineered biothreats, helping humans make sense of the smallest matter in the world. Thursday keynote speaker: Ted Harrington
Ted Harrington is an executive partner of one of the world’s leading security research and consulting firms and the bestselling author of Hackable, which led to his TED talk “Why You Need to Think Like a Hacker.” He also co-founded START, software that simplifies vendor risk management. Harrington’s team founded IoT Village, an event series whose hacking contest is a four-time DEF CON Black Badge winner, and he hosts the Tech Done Different podcast.
Closing keynote speaker: Catherine Price
Catherine Price is an award-winning science journalist, speaker and author dedicated to helping people scroll less and live more. Price has authored numerous books, including her bestsellers How to Break Up with Your Phone and The Power of Fun: How to Feel Alive Again. Her popular Substack newsletter How to Feel Alive (and its companion podcast) features conversations, inspiration, ideas, and evidence-backed advice for how to fill life with more fun and connection.
